This Company is projected to establish the manufacture of printing, wrapping, hud other papers. 7. According to official returns, there are 1050 tons of printing paper alone annually imported into this Colony, at a cost of over £250,000, and to this must be added other kinds- of paper to more than double that amount. It is therefore evident that there is ample scope for the projected undertaking 8. It is contemplated importing the very best machinery procurable, the probable cost of which, includin' necessary buildings, will amburit'to £15,000. •' • ' ■ > 9. Tire following local advantages have influenced the promoters in choosing Temuka as the site of the projected Mill, viz: — - 1 (a.)'Connection with the railway by ■ ; siding, and close proximity to the Port of Timaru. The Promoters after mature consideration and careful investigation, have no hesitation in placing this scheme before the public, and soliciting their co-operation, in the full assurance-that tlie ; enterprise will be a boon to the colony at large and a profitable intestrbent to the Shareholders. 11.
