A report has reached Melbourne today that a volcanic outbreak has occurred in the vicinity of Shag River, twenty miles from Hobart, and that there has been a tremenduous lan.l slip, with various openings over au area of two miles. Tekgrams from Hobart re i ort that there is gr-eafc excitement there owing to.the report, which, however, requires confirmation. Nov. 26. Telegrams received this morning from Hobart in a measure confirm the reported volcanic outbreak near that town. It is believed that ih occurrence is due to a c a-l seam being an fire, but nothing definite is yet known. Sydkky, Nov.. 26.
