Mrs Mackay had been ill for some time past, and had left Temuka on a visit to her relatives in Dunedin. She was seized with rheumatic fever and was, it was supposed, getting better, but finally succumbed to its direful effects. Her kindly and benevole.it dis osirion will long be remembered by a large circle of friends who, however, feel that their loss will be her ga.n. The friends of Mr Mackay are informed that the funeral will leave the Presbyter"m Church for the jirowhenua Cemetery to-day> at 4 o'clock p.m. Ax Ij?IERE3TIN t (} Evbxt. Mason, Mesdames Hayhurst and Brown, Mr Hayhurst, sen., and their friends, alighted from the'r vehicles and proceeded up the aisle of the church to the- Communion rails. The bride and bridegroom elect having taken their respective positions, the marriage ser- ■ rice was conducted by the Rev. J.
