TEMUKA RIDING, The election of two persons to servo on the Geraldine County Council for the Ti - muka Riding took place yesterday. There were three candidates for the vacant seats, viz., Messrs Julius Mendelson, J. Talbot, and R. A. Barker. The following wore the polling places ; —Resident Magistrate’s Courthouse, Temuka ; Schoolhouse, Waitohi ; Mechanics’ Institute, Winchester ; Schoolhouse, South Rangitatn.
