Temuka Leader Office, Friday Evening. Mr E. F. Gray reports that on Wednesday last he held a sale at Winchester Fair. There was a large number of entries, and the following prices were pbtained ; Pigs —6 pigs realised 5s lOd each. Sheep. —289 cross-bred fat sheep fetched 14s ; 222 do, 13s 6d ; 1000 merino ewes, 5s Bd. Cattle. —7 fat heifers, £6 7s 6d ; 2 cows and calves, £6 10s; 2 cows, £4 os ; 2 do, £4 10s ; I do, £4 15s ; 1 springing Jieifer, £5. Skins. —80 skins were disposed of at 4s 3d. Fruit and Forest Trees.—A quantity of trees were advertised for sale by auction, but owing to the lateness of the hour at which the stock sales concluded they were not disposed of.
