AROWHENUA CEMETERY BOARD.
An ordinary monthly meeting of the Board was held on Thursday evening last. Present—Messrs Mendolson (Chairman), Gray and Paterson. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. ; The Chairman stated that himself and Mr Brown visited the cemetery during the month, and he was pleased to. state that they found the cemetery in good con-dition-better than they, from certain, repoi ts, had expected to find it. On the motion of Mr Gray, it was resolved—“ That Mr Paterson be authorised to procure certain trees and grass seed asked for by the caretaker.” Mr Gray moved, and it was carried—•‘That Mr Paterson and the mover act as a sub-Committee for the purpose of comparing the plot book with the registry book.” Accounts for £7 4s having been passed for payment, the meeting terminated.
