LONDON SE«D TRADE. Messrs John. Shaw bxll Son, of 37 Mark Lane, Loudon, E.G., report through their agent, Mr Leonard vV. Blake, of Christchurch, that there was a good demand for all sorts of >igricii!lural seels during the fortnight ending May 6t!i, by which date the season was virtually over. Siocks, aa predicted in previous reports, were left almost unprecedentedly low, more particularly of English red cow gntts, alsyke, and white clover. Fine qualities of alsyke and white clover were almost exhausted, in consequence of which a risa of fully 10 per cent, and 5 per cent, respectively bad taken place. Pe/ennial rye gras"> h«d been still ik good demand at enhanced prices. Lucerne was very scarce and fully 8 per cent, dearer. The sale for bird seed continued extremely
