1.0.G.T. ENTERTAINMENT.
Last evening a very successful ten meeting and entertainment came off t under the auspices of the Good Templars in their hall, the latter being tastefully decorated for the occasion, there being on the west end wall the letters ' 1.0.G;T.* followed by the emblems of the Order, : and 'Welcome' underneath, the whole ("presenting a very pretty appearance. The tables were presided over by Mesdames .'Barber, Russell and linnford. About 100 persons sat down to the tea, and after | due justice had been done thereto the L hall was cleared for the entertainment, [I which was presided over by the llev. J, L\ Chaffers-Welsh, who opened the prbceedI ings with a short address. The pro»gramme was then proceeded with, Miss j ■B. Brown accompanying the singers. played an overture on the fol'owedVby a song by Mrs Barber, unot.'jSr 'feora Mr Gee. Mr Sando W "g9.v. an address bearing on the good L \^ e ß«s of total abstinence. Mr E. Brown B tu e V ave a BOD Ui as B 0 Miss B. Brown. A v "Nitsarber gave a recitation, after which lr\Caskell followed with a leading, od\ Adams a recitation- Messrs Gee, HLr and D..
