Id the House of Commons to-day the Irish Land Bill was further considered in Committee. It was urged by the opponents of the measure that action should he taken by the Government in regard to absenteeism, and the Right Jlon E. Gladstone eventually announced that proper steps would be taken to deal with the question of residence of landlords in Ireland.
