The Geneva correspondent of the. Times writes . —The St. Gall papers tell a strange story of a married couple of the name o Gossau, who lately left the Canton for New York, via Havre. Daring the voyage the wife poisoned her husband, and tried to thrown' is body overboard. This led io her disco very of the crime. At New York she was handed over to the police, tried, convicted, and sentenced to death. She then confessed to having also poisoned her first husband In St. Gall, her second husband being her accomplice.
