Sydney, Feb. 37. A Commission has been appointed by the Governor, to,enquire into the military organisation of the colony . Accounts from the Temora goldfield continue to be uniformly good. Sailed—Arawata.for Auckland.; - Adelaide, Feb.u7. Arrived—Orient Company’s steamship Aconnauga, from Plymouth. Melbourne, Feb. 17. The ship; Hereford, which was wrecked on January 10th last on' Cape Patton, has been successfully floated. It is.rumoured here that Government intend to propose a conference of both Houses of Parliament shortly, for the special consideration of the Reform Rill and in order to give ao opportunity of effecting a compromise in dealing with that measure. '
