INSPECTOR OF NUISANCES’ REPORT.
The following report of the Inspector of Nuisances was read nt the meeting of the Board of Health on Tuesday last ; The Chairman Local Board of Health,
Temuka,
Sir, —I have the honor to inform you that during the past month I have made a house to house inspection at Winchester, and report that with the exception of a small number of closet pans and two cases of other nuisances, I found the sanitary condition of the township very satisfactory. Those persons who had not at the time of my visit complied with the resolution of the Board, re pans, were served with final notices.
Temuka. —-I would respectfully ask for permission to have the flax removed from the Government Reserve at the corner of Yine street, the flax at the present time being nothing better than a receptacle for filth.
I have, &c., Geo. Bolton, Inspector of Nuisances
