Monday, Jan. 3, 1881. (Before Nugent Wood, Esq., E.) POLICE CASES. Police v J. Haddock. —The accm was charged with allowing his chim: to be on fire. Fined 5s and costs. I John Wilson, charged with beinfunk and fighting in the public stree was fined 20s. The same, for resist! the police, was fined 20, in default to imprisoned for a week. CIVIL CASES, W. Storey v Frame—Judgmemunmons for £8 Ordered to pay at e, or 14 days imprisonment. Cuinining And Hays v G Kabu—dm, £5 10s 6d. Defe :dant disputt the claim. Dr Hayes deposed that had attended a child of defendants, a the charges were reasonable ; some the visits he had not charged for. Dalaut called his wife, who deposed that sbaM 10s when she visited Dr Hayeand thought this was all that was owinjShe called repeatedly at Dr Hays, withe child, at his request, but did not th he would charge for the visits, othenvshe would not have gone, as the child (inot require it. His worship remarkehut it was a high charge for a sore fingmid that he considered it an odd th to charge for some visits and not for trs. He must however give jndgmefor amount witli costs.
