Sydney, Nov. 22. At Present the elections have resulted in a number of new members being elected by small majorities. Sir Henry Parkes, Premier, lias been elected for East Sydnev by a small majority. Nov. 23. In tlie election for West Sydney, which took place yesterday, Mr David Buchanan, the well-known politican, was rejected and Mr D. O’Connor was elected despite the extreme measures adopted by. the Orangemen to secure the latter’s rejection, as a measure of reprisal for Sir Henry Parkes’ low poll at East Sydney.
