POST OFFIOE SAVINGS BANKS Tlie following are the regulations for the above banks : 1. Interest at the rate of 4 to 4| per cent per annum is given on £2OO and under ; at the rate of 3 to 4 per cent, per annum on sums under £SOO ; and in the same proportion for any shorter time on every complete £1 deposited, provided that no. interes be allowed on more than £SOO. , 2.
