She is built in fourteen watertight com- • partm?nts and her captain haß constant drill in shutting the doors, being solved that they shall be efficient, m . case •* accident. She hns two fejpewa and two distinct stoke-holes, and her coal * arranged to form a sort of armofaf of coal to a great length of the ship.
