Papers relating to the negotiations have been published in the Gazette of Mexico. Oct. 14. The Government is taking active measures for ths purpose of prosecuting the leaders of the Irish League. Troops are being sent to the west coast of Ii eland. Latest intelligence from the Cape states that the Basutos have attacked Maseru, but after severe fighting were ultimately repulsed. Calcutta, Oct, 13, Intelligence has been received from Cabul that Mahomed Jan, who for some time has been most hostile to the British and who operated with Ayoub Khan in the attack on Caadahar, has now sent in his submission to the Ameer, Abdur Rahman, at Cabul. Sr. Pbtebsburg, Oct. 13. The Czar of Russia is indisposed, but his physicians report his illness to be not of a serious nature.
