BRITISH AND FOREIGN. (Special to the Melbourne Age) London, Aug. 17. The condition of Ireland is serious throughout the North rioting has been general for some weeks, arising from the embittered religious feeling amongst the different sections of the population. At Dungannon, County Tyrone, a riot occurred, which was only suppressed with bloodshed. The mob had taken possession of the town, and refused to disperse after the reading of the Riot Act, whereupon the police were ordered to clear the streets, and were resisted by the crowd.
