TO THE EDITOU. Sin, —I and a number of friends met at a well-known hostoliery in Temnkn oil Saturday evening to discuss the news of the day, as is our usml want, when your outspoken leader on Mr Wakefield’g behavior to this district came up for discussion. The assertion that he has abused the trust put in him, was endorsed by all present, save one. The opinion was also pretty freely expressed that Teddy would stand a poor show of everbeing re-elected for this district. I'o settle the question (as far as those present wore concerned) a bet was made, and a vote taken, which resulted in seven voting against Wakefield and one for him. lithink if the district was canvassed the result would be somewhat the same. Sir, not being much of a letter writer, bijt wishing
to cndbrse—as a number of others do—the vie ws put forth by you on Saturday, I have done my best to put into shape the above information. —1 am, &c., LIBERAL.
