The negociations for the formation of a new Ministry, which have 'taken place between Sir J. O'Shannassy, Mr Berry, Mr 1 Wrixon (member for Portland), and Sir Bryan O'Loghlen, are now broken, and Mr Berry has summoned a meeting of Liberals for Monday, ! the demand for sugars conticues active at further advances. Grear, who shot at his wife and the Frenchman Soudray, and afterwards shot himselr, at the Opera Houseon Saturday last, has succumbed to his injuries. Mrs Grear and Soudray are recovering from their wounds. " ?-• -<-■■,■-.
August 1, Ned Kelly has been sent to Beechworth.
