H, Rove was charged by W. Tiney with using obscene language. Case adjourned lor a month. John Bull v Hy. Anlerson, assault, the defendant was fined Is and costs, the complainant having offered provocation. Judgment was given for plaintiffs with costs in the following cases : W. S. Maslin v Hans Peterson, claim L 8 9s 4d ; J.C. Whit aker v G Taylor claim L 3 2s 6 1 ; same v Egelton, claim L2 15s ; same v W. Page, claim L2 12s ; same v D. King, claim Ll 10s ; same v Rogt rs, claim Ll 10s (defendant to pay 10s per week) ; same v W. Webster, claim Ll Iss ; 0- McCarthy v M, O’Brien, claim L2 Ss 8d ; judgment for plaintiff for Ll 9s 6d, and cost 5s ; T. Trcngrove v J. Reed, claim L 4 10s ; J- hn Bull v H. Anderson, claim L 4 5s 4d. J. Bucher v W. Egelton, claim L 4 10s, and George Wagstaff v J. Bull, damages LlO, or the return of a greyhound slut, \v re a:l----joumed until 26th August. Three, other cases were settled oim of Court.
