A SEVERE THRASHING
TO THE EDITOR. Sib, — I trust you will allow me spare in your paper to bring before the notice of the public a severe thrashing which my son (about 11 years of age) received from the master of tho Milford Public School, which he was attending On Tuesday last the boy came home from school, having severa large lumps on his head, one being over the eyebrow, which he says wero put there by the master of tho school with a cudgel and a nob on the end fit for a skull cracker and received that treatment in trying to got his own school book from another boy Now, sir, a« no ono should he allowed to go without education, what are parents to do with their children that receive such bad treatment from the hands of a public school master 1
In the meantime I must leave the public to say whether I am rigl t or wrong in bringing tho matter before their notice I am, eta, Martin Dunn.
