Any person or perwons slaughtering, or permitting to be slaughtered, cattle for tsale, barter, or shipping, shall pay to tho Clerk of tho Council a fee for a license or renewal of a license, as follows, viz. :- If the number slaughtered is not more than two large or. ten small cattle per week the Bumof L 2-; if more than two large or ten small cattle per week, tho sum of L 5,.
