Interest at the rate of 4 to 44 per cent per annum is given on £2OO and under : at the rate of 3 to 4 per cent, per annum on sums under £SOO ; and in the same proportion for any shorter time on every complete £1 deposited, provided that no intercs be allowed on more than £SOO. 2.
