Puking the past two years no fewer than seven companies have been formed to bring fresh meat to England from abroad—from Texas, trom Hungary, from Spain, and elsewhere. Over L 50,000 has been spant in promoters' fees, advertising, aDd other initial expenses ; but hardly a peund of meat has beee brought into the country by any of these companies. The number of such enterprises, however, is a pretty sure sign that there is a good market in England for fresh foreign beef if a Supply can be obtained. ■LITTLE'S CELEBRATED SHEEP-D 1T 3 ; COMPOSITION/ THE Undersigned Jhna been APPOINTED AGENFS for TIMARU, B d ino now T«king\Ojfif<rs for sani".
