RECEIVING STOLEN GOODS. ■ Thomas Grahcvn Fyfe, father of the accused, was then charged with the abonc offence. Sergeant Garlyon arrested the’accused, and charged him with receiving stolen goods from daughter. On the accused’s daughter being called by the Police to give evidence, Mr Johnston said that knowing- the position of accused, ho had undertaken without fee or reward, his defence, and objected to the girl giving evidence, as she could not at her age understand the nature of an oath. . His Worship having examined the girl decided not to! take her evidence, and there being no other witness, dismissed the case. TRANSFER OF LICENSE. 1 An application from Mrs E.
