Regulations for the Licensing and Management of Slaughter House b, and Inspection there of, an<l of Cattle intended for Slaughter in the County of Geraldine. FN Pursuance of tiio provisions of “The § Slaughter Houses Act, 1877 ” the County douuiil or the County of Geraldine hereby order as follows, that is to say :—• Interpretation. 1. Wherever in these Regulations any of ihe terras mentioned in section sof the said Act are used, such term shall _in the construction hereof have the meanings assigned to them by the said section of the Paid Act, unless there be something in the context or subject-matter repugnant thereto. Any person or persons slaughtering, or permitting to be slaughtered, cattle for sale, barter, or shinping, shall pay to the Clerk of the Council a fee for a license or renewal of a license as follows, viz. ; If the number slaughtered is not more than two laree or per week, the sum of L2 j if Jgore/jfan two large or ten small cattle per week fhe sum of L 5. Everyperson who shall commit a breach of the above Regulations shall, on conviction thereof, be liable to a penalty not evcoeding five pounds.
