It is understood that two steamers with a thousand adventurers will follow shortly from Rome and Barcelona. The original prospectus of the expedition states that it is intended to appropriate NorthWestern Australia. The following further Exhibition awards are announced :—Biscuits— Griffiths, Wellington ; Grant, Thames ; Rentyu, Dunedin ; all second prizes. Confectionary—Griffiths, Wellington, first prize ; Walters, Auckland, second prize. Chicory—Trent Bros., Christchurch, ffirst prize. Groats —Magill, Otago first prize.
