REGULATIONS FOR THE LICENSING AND' MANAGEMENT OF SLAUGHTER HO SES AND IN SPECTION THEREOF, AND OF CATTLE INTENDED FOR SLAUGHTERfIN THE COUNTY OF GERALDINE.
IK pursuance oft, the provisions of *’ The Slaughter Act, 1877,'’ the County Council of the® County of Geraldine do hereby order as billows, that is to say , 1. Interpretation-Wherever in thes--Regulations any of the terms mentioned in'section sof the said Act are used, such terms shall, in the construction hereof, have the mean- • Sg 4s® to them by the said sccti >n of /wysaid Act, unless there be omethina in the context or subi set-matt# repugnant thereto.■ 2. Fees- Any*®(fson or persons slaughterer g, or permitting to be slaughtered, cattle for sale, barter or shipping; shall pay to the Clerk of the Council a Fee for a license, < r Renewal of a License, as fobows viz.—if the number slaughtered is not more than Two Large or-Ten Hmall Cattle per week, the sum of L2 ; if ' more than two Large or Ten Small Cattle per week, the sum of 1-5. 8. Slaughter-horses to be kept-cean. Every person who shall commit a ‘breach of the above Regulations shall, on conviction thereof, _be liable td a penalty not exceeding five, pounds.
