TO THE EDITOR OF THE TEMUKA LEADER. Sir, —Can you tell me why there are so mui)' cows aid hows ethered across Milford road ? Some short time ago I found the pouudkeeper’s horse tied to the fence on the road, opposite the school; As this is a Tnost dangerous practice to people travelling by. night, I hope the Road Board will instruct the poundkeeper to desist for the future. . Settler, [The complainant has his remedy : all cattle whether tethered or at large, on the public thoroughfare, are liable to be pounded. --Ed. TL]
