St. Saviour's Church. —On Tuesday ■ evening a me tin"" was held in Sfc. Saviour’s ■ Church, Tem.uka,. to consider some matters connected ws|j the jelergyman of the parish. The meeting-was rather an unpleasant one. We were invited to report the proceedings, but although we are c-ver ready to expose . abuse in public matters, we do not think it right* to tell tp the, .world congregational squabbles. Iteligion to as is too sacred a matter to hold up to ridicule. No good comes of doing so, and'-we will not take pleasure in exposing the- weakness of others in this matter. 1 None are sufficient, for these sacred things, and we deem,it our duty not to do or say -anything that may reflect disgra-e upon bar Redeemer’s cause. The remarks made by some of the speaker.at the meeting, partook much . of ..the ridiculous, as well as of a feeling which should not have been exhibited at a religious convocation, and we would advise all to try to bind up the wound by keeping it out of sight, when it-will heal all the sooner.
