The Auctioneers have the following remarks to call tho public attention to in regard to the salo of the above, namely, by the pedigree it is evident that Conqueror is a true'brcd Clydesdale, ho is only six years old, and stands 1G hands 3 inches, is of great bo:<e and muscular power, and lias splendid action. He has been serving mares in Timaru district during tho last two vesirs, has left splendid stock, proved himself a sure foal-getter, and he is an extremely popular horse throughout the district. His present owner, Mr James Gibsoa, Saltwater Creek, is 'only parting with him on account of his inten'ion of attending to his hotel business only.
