TEMUKA SCHOOL.
f ANNUAJi MEETING-. The annual meeting of the householders took place at the school-house last night, but owing to the stormy state of the evening only about twenty persons were present. Mr Alexander Wilson was voted to the chair. The Chairman read the clause of the Act requiring the meeting to be called. The minutes of the last annual meeting were read and confirmed. The Chairman then called upon those present to make any remarks they liked. Dr Gumming proposed, and Mr Harrop seconded, that the report be adopted —Carried Dr Gumming proposed, and the Rev Mr Clinton seconded, a hearty vote of thanks to the retiring committee.—Carried unanimously. ELECTION OF COMMITTEE. A ballot was then taken, and the following wore duly declared elected to be the committee for the ensuing year— A Wilson, K F Gray, J Harrop, Archibald Russell, E Brown, F Hooper and W Storey. [Owing to the length of the report, and the lateness of the hour at which we received tt, we hold its publication over till next issue.]] A meeting of the new Committee, was held after the public meeting, at which Mr Wilson was deck'd Chairman.
