Miscel aneous. REGULATIONS TOR THE LICENSING AND MANAGEMENT OF SLAUGHTL R HOUSES AND INSPECTION THEREOF, AND OF CATTLE INTENDED FOR SLAUGHTER IN THE COUNT 7 OF GERALDINE. IN pursuance of the provisions of “ The Slaughter Act. 1877,” the County L'uiincii of the County of Geraldine do hereby order as follows, that is to say : 1. Slaughter-houses to be kept clean, SlcUJfi’ktGi-honso Everv keeper *of-a Skuighter-honse shall* at all times keep, the same, and the premises connected therewith, and the appurtenances Hereto belonging, in a clean state, free from offensive effluvia, and in all respects to the satisfaction of Inspector appointed, or to be nppointed, under the said Act ? and every such keeper of a Slaughterhouse shall so dispose of the blood, offal, drainage, and other refusematter therefrom that the same shall not create a nuisance,.nor be offensive to persons residing or being in or passing through the neighborhood of such slaughterhouse; and no keeper of a slaughterhouse shall permit any blood, offal, drainage..or refused-matter to accumulate, in or upon,, or about the same, or on the premises connected therew.L.i, or to flow, fall, or he thrown, or put into any river, stream, drain, or water-course. Everv person who shall commit a breach of the above Regulations shall, on conviction thereof, _be liable to a penalty not exceeding five pounds.
