The Board teen adjourned till after the meeting of the rati payers. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN. On the Board resuming, it was proposed by Mr Mackay, seconded by Mr Hene v , ami carried—“ 'that the Hon. J. Bat ton A. Achnid he elected Chairman.” INSTRUCTIONS TO CLERK. The Clerk was directed to write to the Geraldine County Cojncil, asking what action the Council intend taking with respect to the pound at Feel Fore.-t.
