It is believed that the estimates of the public works have been re-rast since news have been received of the loan having been floated, consequently the delivery of the statement has been postponed until tomorrow.
At the Supreme Court, in chambers, today, the Chief Justice made an order, compelling the Inspector of Polho to hand over to New Zealand creditors the money and property taken from Gfeich, wlo had become bankrupt in Wellington, and who had been arrested here on a charge of being an absconding bankrupt fiwi Adelaide, and who was subsequently released on a habeas corpus from the Supreme Court. The Appeal Court held that the N:w Zealand creditors had preference to ar:y moncjy or property of which Gle ; ch had become possessor of prior to his baakruptcy.
