The Union Bank of Australia has decided to register under the new Bank Act, with a reserve fund and capital of £3,000,000. Arrived —Arawata, from Bluff. Sydney, Nov. 27.
A companion of Moonlight’s, now in Penuridge, states that the object of Moonlight’s lectures was to raise funds to organise a gang to go as steerage passengers by the mail steamer,and overpower the crew, and then compel them to land the bushrangers at some point on the Anstraiian coast with the gold. Wheat, 6a ; barley, 5s Bd. Dried fruits are selling very freely.
