Wellington, Nov. 20, It seems well understood that the financial proposals of the Government will be mot with a direct want of confidence motion. Tliere is a probability of Mr George’s amendment, providing that Ministers should go to their constituents, being carried on in a modified form, making it applicable only to members joining the cabinet after ministers had been sworn in as a body. On Monday the amount of duty paid by Mr Levin for clearing tobacco from bond was £272 ; Mr Turnbull, £-188 ; Mr Johnston, £147. Worgan was examined to-day. He stated that lie went alone to Noinoi’s pah, not with Sutton. He saw Nome sign the deeds, and be could always sign his name. Ho did not put ids cross to it, but signed properly. Worgan said ho had never heard about a reserve O'" 350 acres.-
