First class —single, 22s ; return, 335. Second class —single, 14s 8d ■ return, 22s
TELEGRAPHIC CHARGES. INLAND. The rate for Inland Telegrams of 10 words is Is ; and Id extra for evenadditional word. On Sundays these rates are doubled. No charge for addresses and signature up to 10 words —ld each beyond that number. All stations in South Australia, exclusive of overland line tariff.—Same as Victoria. FOREIGN. The following are the Rates for Tele' grams for twenty words or less (including Melbourne or Sydney rates) via Port Lanvin and the Java CablerVia Sydney the rates are 8s more throughout. Telegraph offices are open from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. on week days, and from 10 to 10.80 a.m, and 5 to 5.30 p.m. on Sundays. NEW ZEALAND CARLE. (In addition to New Zealand charges) Telegrams for Sydney only.—Firs -words, 8s ; each additional word 9|l. All other stations in New South Wales.—First ten words 8s 6d ; each additional word I Od. All stations in Victoria.—First ten words 9s 6d ; each additional word lid. All stations in Tasmania.—First ten words, 13s 6d ; Is per word for Australian and New Zealand Cable, and 2s for ivery additional five words or fraction of five words, for Tasmanian cable. Palmerston, Waimate, and other offices on South line (daily ), noon. Post Offices have now been established »t Milford, Badham’s, and Rangitata Island. A post-office is now open at Kerrytoivn.
