Mr K. F. Gray, auctioneer, etc.. held a sale of stock and implements at Mr Marshall's sale yards on Thursday last. The fol'owing is a report of the sale : The attendance was large, and lidding good, considering the dullness of the'times A mare brought L2B, 1 horse L 26, a mare (agwl) Lo, cow in calf L 7 15s, 1 do L4lss 1 do L 3, 5 yearlings L2 15s each, 1 calf 12a 61. a bull L 5, 3 young sows L 3 each, 8 young pigs Ll e«.-h, sow and pigs L 4 5s 117 ewes and 60 lambs 4* per head all over ewes shorn, back delivery reaping machine L 6 15s, double furrow plough L 7 15s. Sets of harness and other effects brought good prices. This being a forced salt; of efte-ts,- covered by bill of sale, the piic s re lised may be considered satisfactory. The sheep, being cross-breds, may be considered the oheapest lot. The whole were sold off.
