S.C. COURSING CLUB.
A meeting of the committee of the abovejclub was held in the Royal Hotel, Temuka, on Friday evening la3t. Members present —Dr Hayes (in trie chair), and Messrs D. Charteris, A. D. Wilson, Boyd Thomson, and W. Williamson. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
An account for the expenses of delegates to International Meeting at Dunedin waa passed for payment. The Secretary then read a draft of the annual balance-sheet, to be presented at the next yearly meeting, which will be in November next. It was resolved to accept the strae. Resolved that the next annual meeting of the club be held in Timaru on the 19th of November ult., at the Grosvenor Hotel at 7-30 p.m. A discussion took place in reference to the appointment of Rangers, for the protection of game in the district, somo of the Rangers already appointed having left the district. Several names were suggested when finally it was agreed to postpone the consideration of the niattor until the annual meeting. After a lengthy discussion, upon a subject which is of no interest to our readers, the meeting adjourned.
