The attendance at their cattle y.-rds was small, consequently very few liius were quitted. I f orses were all passed in; cows, L 5 to LG each ; harness, ploughs, <£c, moved off slowly, In their rooms the attendance \v,as large and buyers in abundanc . Every item submitted to (lie hammerfomidapurcha«er at the following figures, which must be highly satisfactory to the vendors : Potatoes, L 5 to L 6 per ton, supply not cqi'a 1 to demand ; hams and ba?on none offering, good samples would fetch a high figure just now ; butter, 8d to ltd per ib. ; fowls 3s to 3s 6d ; turkeys, geese and ducks, no alteration on pricvous week's report; fowls' corn, Gs to 7s per; sack cheese, 6d to 8d per lb. ; lard, 5d to Gd per lb. Groceries they also quote during the day at the following rates : —New Seasons, teas in half-chest 63s 4d, boxes, 17s ; kerosene, lGs to 17s ; cose ITohaat town jams, 6s 3d to 7s per dozen. Household furniture and effects found buyers. They wish to draw attention to their sale on Monday nest, Oct. 20th, of glass, china, and crockery, sae adoertisement for particulars.
