It's strange, for he has always been In time —-we've never had to wait; But now he's keeping the.machine, What can it mean ? Why is'he so late ? The hands are out of copy. I never knew him as late as this, lie ever has been in his place ; The men and boys had better dis— There's not a take on any case, And we are wanting copy. The ads. are up, all but a stick, The pars are on the galley here ; It's very strange, he must be sick, He will not come to-day, I fear, And yet we want more copy.
