The Geraldine Jockey Club Rules strictly adhered to, except where they interfere with the carrying out of the undermentioned rules and regulations. 2. No entry will be received for any of the races, except upon this condition, “ That all disputes shall be decided by the Committee, whose decision shall be final.” 3. No protest will be entertained, unless given in writing, and accompanied with a ‘deposit of £2 25., within ten minutes after the race, which- deposit will be ■ forfeited ■ should the protest prove frivolous. 4. There must bo three entries, or no race. 5. No person to enter a horse (except for post entry,-races), .unless a member of the Club, or to enclose a qualification fee of £1 Is. . 6. All entries to be enclosed and addressed to the Secretary, Temuka, and sent in not later than 8 p.m. on day, September 17th, enclosing entrance fee, name of horse, age, pedigree (if known), name of owner, and colors of the rider. 7. No horse shall be allowed to run in any distance race unless he shall have remained within the district for two months, immediately preceding the day of meeting, and be the bona fide property of an owner resident within ten miles of the course. 8. No horse shall be allowed to run in any County race unless he shall have remained within the Jounty of Geraldine for two months, immediately preceding the day of meeting, and be the bona fide property of an owner resident within the County. 9.
