Gentlemen, At the request of a number of influential residents in your district, I have consented to allow myself to bo put in nomination for your representation in the General Assembly. I have a thorough knowledge of your district, and anirjtimate acquaintance with the requirements of the locality ; and my suitability to I'epresent you is not lessened by having been engaged for some years in agricultural pursuits.
