Mails close at Temuka as follows : Milford—Wednesdays and Saturdays, at 4 p.m. Badham’s and llangitata Island —Wednesdays and Saturdays, at 11.30 a.m. Chris'church and Ashburton —7.40 a.m., 2 30 p.m.. and 4'20 p.m. Geraldine aud Wuihi Bush—ll.so a.m. daily”. Winchester and other intermediate offices on the line —7.40 a.m and 4.20 p.m. Waitohi Elat—Wednesday and Saturday, at 3 p.m. rimaru—o 10 a.m., noon, and 5.40 p.m. Dunedin, Port Chalmers, Oamaru, Palmerston, Waimate, aud other offices on South line (daily), noon. Post Offices have now been established at Milford, Badluun’s, aud Bangitata. Island. A post-office is now open at Kcrrytown. Mail closes in Timaru on Mondays and Thursdays, at 6 a.m. A travelling post office having been established on the southern line of railway, letters bearing a late Fee of twopence may be posted at any station in the mail carriage attached to the express train, and they will be included in the mails made up in transit for offices on the main line and branches, wm. Smith, Sub-Postmaster.
