MAIL NOTICE.
Mails close at Temuka as follows ; Milford -Wednesdays and Saturdays, at 4 p.ra. Badham’s and Rangitata Island —Wednesdays and Saturdays, at 11.30 a.m. Chris.'church and Ashburton —7-40 a. m., 2 30 p.m.. and 4 20 p.m. Geraldine and WCibi Busu —11.50 a.m. daily. Winchester and other intermediate offices on the hue—7-40 a.m and 4.20 p.m. Waitohi Flat. - Wednesday and Saturday, at 3 p.m. fimarn—9lo a.m., noon, and 5.40 p.m. Dunedin, Port Chalmers, Oainaru, Palmerston, Waimate, and other offices on South lino (daily), noon. Post Offices have now. been established at Milford, Badham’s, and Rangitata Island. A travelling post office having been established on the southern line of railway, letters bearing a late fee of twopence may be posted at any station in the mail carriage attached to the express train, and they will be included in the mails made up iu transit for offices on the main line and branches, WM. SMITH, Sub-Postmaster.
