GRAIN AND FLOUR MARKETS. Messrs Miles and Go. report under date London, January 30 ; In consequence of the continued large arrivals of Californian shipments, together with heavy supplies of English wheat which our farmers have found necessary to place on the market, prices have further given way. to the extent of Is to 2s per quarter, and produce on passage from San Francisco can now bo bought at 43s per 5001 b., but at this low price business is dull, and millers are only purchasing from hand to mouth, the still large visible supply in America causing an almost total absence of speculation. There are reports of a deficient rainfall in the Pacific States, and should these prove to be well founded, Californian wheat would in all probability be favorably affected. For early shipments d£ the new crop of Australian wheat we hear of transactions at 46s per 4801 b gross weight f.o.b. to the United Kingdom. New Zealand wheat in store moves off slowly, while parcels condition are exceedingly difficult to pl'ace. We quote ex store Australian wheat 48s to 495, and New Zealand 36s to 45s per 4961 b. Australian flour 28s to 345, and New Zealand 26s to 30s per 2801 b.
