THE WAR WITH THE ZULUS.
[From Exchanges.] Adelaide, Feb. 17. The steamer Garonne brings Capo news to the 27fch February. It is aunouneed that Sir Eartle Frero has published despatches from General Lord Chelmsford, staling that Ids third column lias sustained a severe loss at camp Tsaudall, which the Zulus attacked. They completely routed the Ih’itish, taking-the waggons and tents. Tliey thou attacked the commissariat station, which was, however, gallantly defended. The latest nows states that Major Hartnell, the commandant at Isanclall, had again engaged and defeated the enemy, with trilling loss to Ins own column. London, Feb. 12. Fifteen swift steamships are conveying troops to the Cape. February Id. The Premier made a statement similar to that made in the House of Commons, calling upon the Parliament to wipe out the disaster in Zulu land. Bo.muav, Fob. IS. The Indian Government have offered a contingent of troops for the Cape.
