It is proposed that it is desirable the Government forthwith contract for a monthly mail service between Gr ‘at Britain and South Australia, the time not to exceed 36 days, nor to cost L 40,000 a year. Bishop Selwyn has gone home. The weather has been very variable. Business continues dull. Htrses are arriving for the Oup day. The reform Bill hangs fire. It has • been agreed to refer it"to a special conference of five members of each House.
